There is a common misconception about getting six pack abs. People believe that all it takes is doing abs exercises. But that is plain wrong.
The truth is that you already have six pack abs. It’s just that on top of the abs there is a layer of fat. It varies for everybody on how thick that fat layer is. But everyone has it. Try doing any kind of exercise at least once a week for 21 days. Then try it twice a week for 21 days. It will make a big difference in your overall state of mind and body. Candy and cookies are the worst thing you can eat
You are not the cookie monster. There is a reason he is blue. Think about your habits of eating sweets. Do you eat them, because they lay in sight? Then hide them.Having stockpiles of sweets at home might have not been the wisest decision. With sweets it is not always obvious how much we actually consume. It’s easy to count the candy, cake or cookies you eat during the day but did you count the raw sugar you put into your tea or coffee?
When you want to slim down it’s about minimizing sugar consumption. Sugar equals fat on your belly. Less sweets means less fat. Like with everything else if you are used to eating many sweets then giving that up feels hard. Start slow and give yourself limits on how much you are allowed to eat. We consume bigger amounts of sugar if there is stress. Plan ahead and find other stress relievers that won’t make you fat. In my opinion training is one of the best stress relievers there is. After the exercise session is over you will feel no longer stressed but relaxed and happy.
Eat your food slowly so your body can tell when it’s full
Each time you eat something, do it slowly. Take your time and make love to the food. You already know that love making should take at least 30 minutes. Well so should eating your food. Give your stomach time to realize that it is full and needs no more food.
When humans are starving we usually start eating at a fast pace. We eat huge amount of food in an amazingly fast. Ten minutes later we start feeling fullness. We will feel so full that it’s hard to move. Why is that? We ate too much and our body had no time to tell us that we already were full from half the size we actually ate.
Soft drinks contain huge amounts of sugar
Drink juice, water, milk or whatever. There are amazingly many delicious drinks that taste delicious. I should also warn you about juices, because many of them do contain sugar. When buying juice it’s best to read the labeling if sugar is added and how much.
Drink anything but soft drinks. They will make you fat. Soft drinks are filled with absurd amounts of sugar. You would never eat that much sugar on it’s own, then why drink it. If you are used to drinking soft drinks daily then stop today and you will be amazed from the results on your weight.
Eating regularly won’t let you feel hunger and over eat
Instead of three big meal times a day try to do four or five. This is something bodybuilders do, to keep the fat percentage low. They will eat smaller portions of food five times a day. This way you won’t feel overwhelming hunger at any given time and there is no need to over eat. If five times is too much then try four times a day. Having smaller healthy snacks in between the meals is much smarter if you wish to get sic pack abs. To know what I mean with healthy snack just try googling it and get a million different ideas.
Drink more water
Every day you should drink around 1,5 liters of water. Your body needs it to keep you alive. It’s healthy. Also it fills you up so you will feel less hungry. One big mistake many people do is drinking too little water. Forgetting to drink water because of a busy day is no excuse. You can always think of a system that works for you so forgetting is impossible.
Limitations for eating times
Create a certain time after which you won’t eat anything anymore for the day. A good time would be to stop eating after 9.00 pm. If you go to sleep you won’t burn any energy and all free energy will be made into fat. Energy comes from food. So no food before you go to sleep.
White bread will make you fat. Don’t eat it. Or try to eat less of it. The only time you could eat white bread is when you plan to run a marathon after eating. Because then you could use up the energy you got from the bread. This way the unused energy won’t be used to build new fat cells.
